Twas the day before Christmas…when all through my house…not
a creature was stirring…thank God there were no mice. The stockings were hung
on the bakers rack with care…far enough away from the fake pot bellied stove
that was the only fireplace she would have for a while. Her children were snuggled all safe in their
beds…in locations far from her…but she had no dread. She knew God was watching
them all where they lived…and she could feel the love they had for her even
from there. She walked through the house God had given her and counted her
blessings…so numerous and wonderful ..so many she had to stop counting. God’s
love was so evident in her small home…she ran to her computer…and began typing
them there. She could see him in her
parents and sisters so dear…in the friends she had made in towns far and near.
She could see him in ministries from her home church and far…even new ways to
share his love in the coming year. As she sat and she pondered just how much
she had…she gave thanks to God for the many friends that she had. She closed
her time with God with a prayer…that all would be blessed in ways she had felt
this year. One last thought she typed
out with care…Merry Christmas to all…And to all a great new year!
Love and blessings to my family around the world. I miss you
all and appreciate your prayers and support so much!
